Fair Use Policy

Raise Ready is marketed as offering unlimited access to GoPresent's AI features for one raise cycle. In practice we apply a small set of per-feature caps over your 90-day access window so a single account cannot consume capacity intended for the whole customer base. These caps are deliberately generous: they reflect the upper-bound usage we have observed from heavy real fundraising-cycle activity, plus headroom. If you stay inside the caps you will not notice them at all.

This page documents the caps so you can see, before purchase and at any time during your access window, what 'fair use' means in concrete terms.

Each AI-powered action — generating a deck, running a gap analysis, drafting an investor memo, holding a Q&A coaching session — costs us measurable money in third-party AI provider fees. The fair-use caps protect everyone: Raise Ready is a fixed one-time price for the duration of your raise, and we keep capacity available for new customers without rationing it across users in ways that are invisible to them. If you have a legitimate reason to exceed a cap — a longer raise cycle, an unusual deal complexity, a re-raise — contact privacy@gopresent.ai and we will normally extend your allowance manually rather than charging you again.

AI generations — up to 200. Gap analyses, deck generations, and pitch-critique council runs each draw one AI generation from this shared pool. In practice a real raise cycle uses a fraction of this.

Source-deck uploads — up to 3. This is the number of separate source decks you can upload for analysis. Regenerating, editing, or re-arranging slides on a deck you have already uploaded does not count against it.

Q&A coaching sessions — up to 50 across your access window.

Fundraising Coach chat is available throughout your access window as part of ordinary use. Your live usage — what you have used and what remains — is always visible inside your founder portal.

These allowances reset when you renew Raise Ready for a new 90-day window. They are not transferable between accounts.

It is not a soft monthly limit that resets every month. The caps apply once across your 90-day window so a founder running a long, intense raise has the same budget as one running a quick one.

It is not a throttle on read access. You can view, share, and download anything you have already generated as many times as you like.

It is not a rate limit. We separately apply a short-window rate limit (typically 10 actions per minute) on a per-account basis to prevent automated abuse — that is a different, lower-level mechanism.

Tracking your usage: your remaining capacity for each allowance is shown in your founder portal, so you can budget it at any time.

Hitting a cap: you will see a clear message and can contact support if you believe an extension is appropriate — we will normally extend a genuine raise rather than charge you again.

Reaching a cap on one allowance does not block the others — they are tracked independently.

If we detect automated or programmatic use that is clearly outside ordinary fundraising activity (scripted re-generation, bulk extraction, attempts to circumvent the caps), we may suspend access. Reasonable judgement applies; this clause is not used against ordinary heavy users.

Sharing your account credentials with people outside your founder portal team is outside the scope of fair use and is governed by the Acceptable Use Policy at /legal/aup.

We may adjust the caps as we learn more about real customer patterns. We will not lower a cap below what you have already used in the current window. Material changes are announced via email at least 14 days before they take effect.
