Every organisation's data — decks, analyses, memos, deal flow — is scoped to that organisation and enforced at the database layer with row-level security, backed by application-layer organisation filtering on every query. One customer can never see another's materials, and internal roles can only act inside the workspace they were granted.
All traffic is served over TLS. Data and file storage are encrypted at rest by the underlying managed infrastructure. Uploaded decks live in private, per-organisation storage — never in a public bucket — and are reachable only through short-lived, access-checked links.
Our AI providers process your content under agreements that prohibit them from training their own models on it, on every tier. For GoPresent's own models the policy is tiered and disclosed up front: on any Paid Tier your decks, documents, and generated outputs are never used for training — contractually binding under our Terms of Service. On the Free Tier, founders consent at sign-up to their materials helping improve our models, which is how we fund a free service; upgrading to a Paid Tier stops that at any time. For scouts that consent is optional — the same tick box appears at sign-up, and leaving it unticked simply means nothing you submit is used for training; it withholds no feature. AI-generated analysis, scores, and investor memos are decision support, not automated verdicts. Every deliverable is presented for a human to review and is explicitly labelled as AI-assisted, so a founder or an investor always makes the final call with the reasoning in front of them.
Sign-in, session management, and multi-factor options are handled by a dedicated identity provider. Access to founder, consultant, and investor portals is role-based, and bot and abuse protection guards the public intake surfaces so the free-report pipeline can't be farmed.
We keep your data only as long as needed to deliver and support the service, apply soft-deletion so removals are recoverable within a defined window before permanent erasure, and can honour data-subject requests. Intake, review, generation, and export are tracked so the workflow around sensitive materials is auditable.
